I'm glad the judges are calling out stupid, pointless, tiny butler's pantries.

Whoever buys H1 is going to need/want to re-renovate that stupid tiny room to give backyard access.

Very aesthetically pleasing. A very small kitchen though. But functionable nonethless.

H2- yep small. Stupid butlers pantry. The aesthetics tho of the actual kitchen I do like. 8/10

If you're paying 4mil for a house you can afford a few bucks for a coffee machine. And every other piece of minor styling. Why would it be a praise worthy item

So far we’ve seen 2 badly designed houses. Who is at fault?

I really hate that "we're building for an unknown buyer."

Wrong - you need to have an idea of who your buyer is in mind at every stage of your build. You cant try and build a jack of all trades house.

Again, I hated the pointless butler's pantry in H2. I kind of like their aesthetic, but I've hated their styling nearly every week, it's so over the top.

H2 kitchen is way too small. My island bench is bigger and I do not live in a multi million dollar home. Access to the laundry via the bathroom is also stupid.

This stone is awful. The bench is a great size though. What you'd expect for a bench at this price point.

The secret weapon is junk. I don't understand the purpose of it.

Their cabinetry is very nice.

Anyone keeping track of each house's spend? I completely forgot to look out for it tonight.

Didn't hate H3 - at least it was a butler's pantry kind of worth having. It's come at the expense of the dining "room" though.

I'm not sure who needs 4 ovens and 2 wine fridges in addition to a normal 2-door fridge.
