How good does that Ang and Kouta interview look. Makes ya nostalgic seeing the boys together again... Give anything to have Kouta running round at CHF for a couple rounds.

More than just a supporter... I believe his uncle is Wayne Johnston...
Hi Sam!

“When they (Collingwood) first invited me down as a 15 year-old, I took great pride in wearing my Carlton No.7 guernsey to my first training session . . . it was given to me by ‘The Dom’ (Wayne Johnston) who at the time was a member of the family by marriage,” Sam explained.

And he wore his uncle's number on his jumper down to Collingwood training.
What a p.isser.

:D

Maher: Sam you can't be excused for wearing Collingwood colours once

.... Yeah but how about you get off Essendon's dick Andy.

Andy really did his best to piss me off during that entire show. He practically declared Gibbs was off to Port based on nothing but a gut feel, wrote us off & gave us no hope. Starting to see why people want him off the show.

Wouldn't say that. Nothing wrong with explaining to people what could happen in the worst case scenario and what Gibb's motivation to leave might be. Probably needed to be explained to be honest since not everybody keeps up to date with the footy like we do. However I can't see Port offering us enough to make trading Gibbs worthwhile. They won't offer Wingard, Wines or Boak so why bother when Gibbs is entering his prime? Only have to look at the elimination final to see his value.

Not to mention that it would suck seeing my favourite player run around for another club.

I hear ya mate.

My condolences for your loss......

Speaking of ex-players I wonder what Russell is up to now since his career at Collingwood didn't last long. Russell probably would have benefited more from Mick's coaching style then Bucks who isn't the best at inspiring confidence in his players.

But he couldn't even get his around the idea of Gibbs wanting to stay. He was just compiling a list of reasons for him to leave. Seemed to me that andy doesn't think there are reasons for Gibbs to stay. He just kept going on & on. It just would've been nice for him to be balanced - giving the only thing we are hearing is that Gibbs will more than likely stay.

Well he was kissing Port's arse a fair bit but I'd say Gibbs is far more likely to stay then leave.

He said it himself, he was just playing devil's advocate. Wasn't listing reasons for and against, he WAS providing balance to the panel as the other two didn't wish to.
I dislike Maher as much as the next person but I think you've missed the mark here.

I thought he was being a dick there.

I mean are you going to turn down any childhood dream of playing elite footy just because you're zoned to Collingwood?

I bet Maher never rose to anything above U15s at school footy.
