Just like FTO by the sounds of it. FTO exists in part via another site which is kept pretty quiet and has the hard core FTO posters still (FTO owners have no role at all). I hope the Blue View evolves in the same way.

Dunno about the alternate sites for the Saints or Hawks, but Richmond has YellowandBlack.info & OneEyed-Richmond.com which are both fairly active. Not sure if they could handle the sudden extra load if PRE went down but Y&B has managed to get enough donations to sponsor at least 4 players this year, so its doing pretty well.

Each of these forums have in access of 2000 users, do you think they could handle the influx, as for Carlton they will find somewhere to go, after all bf is superior to club sites anyway, its got it all in one package

Initially they would probably struggle with the sudden influx I'm sure, just as the alternate Carlton boards are now. 2000 users are never on at one time, the amount of active daily users is more like a hundred or two.

With all due respect to Groves & the BigFooty crew, I wouldn't say its superior to the individual club forums. There's just far too much immature crap on here. You have to wade through far too much rubbish to find the quality posts. This seems to be kept a bit more in check on some of the main supporter forums as there are less trolls baiting supporters of opposition clubs which in turn just evolves into a flame war.
Views of opposition supporters is one thing, but the quality ones are few and far between.
