I don't think the AFL can ever top that effort but to their credit they keep on trying.

It's actually some of the better AFL entertainment I've seen (not for the intended purposes). So much better than seeing a group of kids waving flags while Australian Idol contestants sing cover songs.

Who is in charge over there? Just a real disconnect between what they think we like and what we like.

That said, Meatloaf paid some spiritual homage to Angry for the 20 year anniversary of that absolute shemozzle of pre match... 'entertainment'.

Be completely awesome if they got Angry back for a 'Bound for Glory' part 2.

With real hovercars this time.

I am so not a Lionel Richie fan, but I actually thought he did a good job in 2010 (although my judgement may have been clouded by the post match entertainment )

And they would have had practically no time for any committees to get involved or people to stick their nose in or to make it complicated - probably a good lesson there.
