The booing of Ablett was another level above the normal booing of other players mentioned in this thread. Silly to suggest otherwise.

And far dirtier players have been far less booed than what Goodes copped. Again very silly to suggest otherwise
It's easy to spot those two players from a distance for obvious reasons. Goodes with his skin color, and Ablett with his bald white skull. Makes it easier for the crowd to boo when they don't need to look up at the screen to see who is around the ball.

That's right, hide who you are for fear of prosecution. Sounds healthy.
I never said to hide it and never said i was against it i simply said its a life choice much like being vegan or liking the colour blue or liking ford over holden. Some of you are just here to cause trouble and that is the point that you dont seem to understand.

Humans also invented sports which give a sense of comfort and enjoyment. Religion provides the same to thing to those that believe. Besides, we are all brainwashed to a certain degree.

I've never understood why people can't understand how religion provides a path for some people through this mystery called life. I mean you can say God is mythical, but that is a really naive statement. From a scientific perspective, we haven't even scratched the surface on our understanding of consciousness. Is God real or not? Who really knows. But to say it's a myth is just silly.
This is a complete falsehood

Nobody denies religious people their right to worship their God. Non-believers are against Christianity when it impinges upon their world. e.g. when hypocritical judgmental bible-bashers try to shove their religion down other people's throats and lecture other people on how to live their lives. This is the big problem with many Christians. If they kept their religious beliefs to themselves, nobody would give a shit. But they're not happy to live their lives, pray to their God and keep it to themselves. That's part of their sickness. They always try to convert others into their cult or preach at them with unsolicited lessons from the bible.

This evangelical behaviour goes right back through history, from the Crusades to missionaries around the world forcing their religion upon indigenous tribes in the New World to the present day where clowns stand on street corners waving their placards and screaming at passers-by. Or just well-meaning outwardly-normal people who can't resist slipping a bit of "Jesus loves you" to vulnerable people who just need someone to talk to.

This is what Israel Folau was doing (and by extension, Ablett when he liked Izzy's tweet). They were using their fame as a platform to spread their Christian bigotry. Most people aren't cool with that. Folau and Ablett can think what they like. They can even tweet whatever they like. Just as others can give them shit right back at them. It's a free country. You can be a campaigner and I can call you a campaigner.

I'm guessing you are one of those types of people who parade the ideology of diversity and inclusivity. Your comments above really don't match up with this.
That's a laugh. Siding with religious bigots who publicly announce that gays will burn in hell unless they repent and then accuse their critics of being against diversity and inclusivity?!?!? Way to twist things around. Nice try, mate... Let's also give nazi skinheads and the KKK a free pass too. In the name of inclusivity and diversity, they have a right to preach about the nazi holocaust myth, racial segregation and how Jews have taken over the world.:drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk:

Funny thing is I don't think he's that precious to really care about being booed.

It's the media, Geelong and the AFL making a mountain out of a molehill

Gary Jnr can think whatever he wants, no matter how twisted, but he needs to realise that while he's an employee of the AFL he's subject to their policies.

If Gary want to be employed by the AFL and receive a pay check, he needs to cease vilifying groups of people (which includes endorsing the views of someone else vilifying groups of people).
Can you link where Gary and Izzy "vilified" a group or groups of people?

With how much ridicule homosexuals cop , hate to break it to you, they don't choose their sexuality.

If you cant comprehend that , that's pretty concerning

Not sure what part of my post was falsehood? I never mentioned anything to do with preaching Christianity to others. In fact, I for one don't really agree with Christians who go out to try and convert others. I am a strong believer in finding your own belief system through life rather than have someone bring it to you. Folau wasn't trying to convert anyone. His post was just a statement of belief based on his religion.

My position is this: believe what you want but consider others when you discuss it. In that regard and given his current position, what he did was a bit stupid.

That's a laugh. Siding with religious bigots who publicly announce that gays will burn in hell unless they repent and accusing their critics of being against diversity and inclusivity... Not sure how you say I have twisted things around? I was "guessing" that was the posters position based on his strong distaste for Christianity. Also, how have I sided with a religious bigot? I side with reasonable and logical discourse without emotion. I never have said that I supported what Folau did. In fact, I disagree with Israel's use of social media to push his religion (whilst being a professional rugby player). If he wasn't a rugby player and was just your common folk, then go for it. He is free to believe what he likes. If someone was twisting things around if would be yourself. And come on man, that last bit about nazi's is going a bit far. Not sure how you are drawing conclusions to that based on what I have said.

Hocking is an absolute muppet, just guaranteed he gets it every away game for the rest of the year. What exactly is the plan to stop it? And why doesn't he seem concerned about anyone else getting booed not wearing hoops?
Agreed with your comment. Trying to work out what measures he can introduce to stop the crowd booing

1. Freekick if umpire decides booing of player is too loud, and then 50 if booing continues
2. Fine opposition club if booing freekicks incurred reach a certain number
3. Dock points from opposition club if booing freekicks reach an obscene number.
