Pretty sure star wars jumped the shark in the second half of return of the jedi.

Ewok issues are well known, but the space battle and the lightsaber battle are awesome.

Compared to return of Skywalker or whatever it is, the space battle mostly sucks, the land battle with the horses on the stardestroyer... Yeah, and the lightsaber battle? It's a three course meal of undisgestable poop.
