Every time before a speach i say i am going to make eye contact to get better marks but i never take my eyes of the page.

That's exactly what happens to me. & happened in my last speech.
I know my speech but as soon as I get up infront of everyone the whole thing just leaves me & I spend the entire time looking down. & if it's a long spech I end up losing all the saliva inn my mouth & can hardly talk....

• I never take notes into speeches, or rehearse them. Instead, I'll improvise.
• Strawberry topping is best on popcorn. If you don't count sweet chilli sauce.
• Got up at three this morning, stupid chem, stupid alarm clock for not waking me up on time.

Maths is better than english i hate that s__t same thing every year.

I do alright in English but it isn't my best subject, probably because I'm not verey good at grammar & I HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE, HATE speeches with a passion!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I do better in subjects with wirds rather than numbers. Give me an essay or short response exam anyday over maths problems & equations etc....
But how ironic that I do more subjects with equations & maths problems than the 'worded' ones...

I had the Joy of doing a speech today. My GOD do I hate it, It was meant to go for 5 minuets, mine was lucky to go for 1 and a half. I hate it, my teacher asked me what was wrong after I did it and I replied with "I would rather go die in a hole than do speeches miss". I think that sums up how I feel about speeches quite well. The class found it strange that I would say that though, can't imagin why......

Have to say I hate speeches. We did one on journeys the other day and I stuffed it up. I was shaking, but I guess that's my comeuppance for doing it the night before, lol.

But apart from speeches I love english. I'm doing everything possible for english next year because I just love doing it. Maths is alright this year because I actually get it. Modern History and Chem are also kewl, but Bio and Physics suck shit.

And Medders was pretty quiet. But with that said, didn't really get a lot of oppurtunities, we were playing the 2nd best team going around, and as stated, our midfield can't kick the ball for shit.
