has anyone in your class actually made money???At school, in economics, we are playing that stock market game thing, and its annoying me, coz BHP is evil and keeps losing money.
the guy in the lead at our school has less money then he started with...
We started with 50,000 and my portfolio is down to 46,516 or something. And woolworths is giving me the shits too, thank god for whatever the other thing i bought is, thats gone up...I sold 1,000 BHP shares today.
I will actually look into the other board now...

did the share market thing last year, ended up at 56 K
Yeah, but, but, but last year the stock market wasn't about to go into recession. Now the majority of people are sitting on about what i'm sitting on. The national leader is only on like 53,000. It is really annoying, my teacher basically said, the one that loses the least amount of money will win. Great judgment decision by me to buy BHP instead of Rio tinto..One has gone up by like 5 dollars the other has gone down by a similar margin.
I'm just trying to make myself feel better about being pretty dodgy at this game.

I have 100 BHP's I purchased at $35, how are they going?
Back at $35, I bought them when they were $39
. And i can't wait coz the recession hasn't started yet and may not, bear market all that shizz, and if it does start it probably won't finish till like christmas. Could have not spent any money but then its like boring in class....

I had to do 6 weeks of economics lsat year as a kinda trial thing, it was the most boring 6 weeks of my life! I remember one lesson my friends & I sat & staired out the window watching a crane lift stuff around a house...... It was going SO slow & we began freaking out when it stopped...... that's how bored we were!!!!

.... I'm stuck in mine for the whole year and none of my friends picked the subject. I was literally sleeping on friday, so f-ing boring. What makes it worse is the fact i'm doing busniess managment, very, very, very similar subjects. Good thing about the classroom, it has a view of the beach, i was watching tankership boat things the other day....

In physics, I have to sit away from my friends but over near the window. I spend a lot of the lessons staring out the window onto the oval 7 watch the Gr11 PE class do artchery.... it looks like so much fun!
