Never read it. But usually the books schools make you read suck badly.

Except Year 12 when we had to read Kite Runner, I quite enjoyed that.

We did Romeo and Juliet in Year 10, but that's about it.

The books we usually read were from Australian writers, so they were tops. :thumbsd:

I'll never forget freakin Lockie Leonard, terrible book. And Love, Ghosts and Nosehair, wtf was that book about?

Some of the shit we had to read. Disgrace.

I'm at school right now. In accounting..... bored... & hoping the teacher doesn't come around... lol :D

I had to read Romeo & Juliet in yr 10, then preform part of it.... hated it so much!! was really bad lol

It is pretty damn hot. Mixed with my uber tiredness, not good.

My bro got up at 7am this morning to go for a run before it got hot. And my bro can never NOT MAKE NOISE so sure enough I get woken up (being an extremely light sleeper), mixed with my current sleeping problems, I didn't get back to sleep until 8:50 which is when I get up for work.

So not happy.

8.50! That's when i start school :(

When i left the house at 7.45 it was already 22 or something.
Hot weather at school is terrible.

Yeh I'm lucky to be starting at 10. :D

But I go to bed at like 12:30, so 6 and a half hours is not enough for me. :thumbsd:

10!!!!!
i wish school started later, i get so tired.
i got to bed at 10.30 and get mum to wake me up at 6.30 then i stay in bed till 6.45. I can never get up straight away.

How old are you and what year you in?

I remember those days of going to bed early for school. Then I stopped that at like Year 10, when I could sleep in more. Year 11 and Year 12 were the best, the school is seriously behind my house. I could stand up right and now and wave to my old teachers (no not really). So I could sleep in till like 8:15, quick shower, off to school. Or the best was when I had spares, I could just go home whenever I wanted. :D

I'm 14 and I'm in year 10(I started school a year early when I was 4)

My school's not that far from where i live, 20 minute bus trip.

Yeah in primary school i lived a 5minute walk from school so i didn't have to get up till 8.30 :)

Year 10 was a bludge. Make the most of it before you get to VCE.

I'm so scared about going into VCE, my brother is in year 12 now and he said it's hard. But maybe that's just him.

It's hard if you make it hard. Depends if you care. It is hard if your one of those people who is of the belief that Year 12 will make or break your life.

Or you can do my approach which was be a 'nerd' from Grade 1 -11, and then for some reason say '**** year 12' and not bother and get an ENTER in the low 50's. :D

Or you can do the in between, which is try, and care, but not be over obsessive. I vote this approach.

When i try too hard, i end up going worse than i could if I'd just done what i normally do. The only thing I'm not that good at is maths, half the stuff we learn is useless and i tend to get bored and not listen....

I thought yr 10 was a bludge, would spend some classes just chatting.

We start at 8:45, get to school about 7:45 (because mum has to start work then). & we finish at 3:05. I live about 5mins away from school so I should be waking up later but I take forever to get ready so I have to get up between 6 & 6:30..... grrr....

I mock you. So whilst you are starting school, I am just getting out of my warm soft bed. :D

If you are bored Miss... I dunno your name, so I'll say Miss Elmo, you can vote for Michael Myers in the 'Favourite Slasher' thread. Cheers. :thumbsu:
