I feel for you nerf i know someone that had something along the lines of that.
I never thought I had apnea, as I thought you had to actually wake up during the night. I figured my extreme tiredness during the day was related to the insomnia. But there are two types of apnea, there's one where you wake up without even knowing to breathe, and there's the one where you actually do wake-up.

Hopefully they don't have to do surgery, but I think that's how they fix it.

My dad has sleep apnea Nerf.

He has to sleep with some machine on at night, which stops him from waking up every 45 seconds or something.

CPAP machine is what they're called, I'd imagine theres stuff on the net about them.
