Maybe our 2 preseason fiascos against the Poor was the footy version of “rope a dope”.
Shock them by actually trying when points are on the line.

Round 1 2021?When was the last time we pulled one of these games out when we weren't expected to ??
If the players respond in the right way, we could win.Virtually everyone predicting a slaughter and rubbishing the Crows this week including the media. The players must hear some of it. I know how i would come out to play if i'd been labled as sh*t all week. We beat Geelong with an inspired performance not that long ago. Lets see how much character our team has tonight. Crows by 16pts.

I'd rather do a stint in Mobilong, would be safer. How many on here are going?
Round 1 2021?
No as in a Showdown.....Geelong game.
That was a full four quarter effort playing great Footy.
This group can do it.

Friends of the AFC some know me as a troll but this time genuinely i have a question all i want is an answer
Help me understand why you guys rate Fog ? I mean we all like blokes who don't mind a bit of biff but that's not enough to base a career on and I just don't see what he offers you at all
If he was pick 112 not 12 is he even on a list still ?
Any other time you can tell me to GAGF but this time I just want to know

Showdowns being 50/50 is marketing myth.No as in a Showdown.....
It's a fair question, one which we've been debating on this board for the last 2-3 weeks (maybe too much so, to the annoyance of many).Friends of the AFC some know me as a troll but this time genuinely i have a question all i want is an answer

If they can get his agility and tank up he could be a decent forward/mid.Friends of the AFC some know me as a troll but this time genuinely i have a question all i want is an answer

Yep, he needs to learn some more tricks. It's a fair question, one which we've been debating on this board for the last 2-3 weeks (maybe too much so, to the annoyance of many).
Many Crows supporters are seduced by his right leg, and to be fair, it's a truly elite weapon. His ability to kick accurately, over long distances and wide angles, is truly phenomenal. His goal kicking accuracy is better even than that of the great Tony Lockett.
Unfortunately, that's the only aspect of his game which is AFL standard. He's slow, and lacks agility, and doesn't get involved enough. He's be a massive weapon as a forward if he could average 12-15 disposals per game, but he averages less than 9 (and his average is inflated by 2 recent games where he was trialled unsuccessfully in the midfield).
He's a high impact, low disposal, type of player. The question is whether or not he's capable of impacting games often enough, given that he almost always has a low disposal count. In the words of Jason Dunstall: "probably not".
You put a lot of effort into a response that that asker didn't even care about the answer toIt's a fair question, one which we've been debating on this board for the last 2-3 weeks (maybe too much so, to the annoyance of many).

Expect Dixon to kick a bag tonight.Replace Fog for Dixon and get back to us
Maybe... but was there anything in my response that you disagree with? You put a lot of effort into a response that that asker didn't even care about the answer to

I never really understood either.Admit I live in Melbourne, but I still lul at the Crows fans who "wont go to a Port home game Showdown"...![]()
Away Showdowns used to be my favourite games.I never really understood either.
There’s a couple of explanations given to me over time
One was the season tickets are not valid for their games and hence you need to by a ticket. Not always good seating or affordable
Not also wanting to fund Port
The others relate to the crowd being a Port majority of which is “uncomfortable” ( being polite here )
