Apparently the guy fronting the band, Kit Warhurst, is Myf's brother.

He plays in the band Rocket Science too.

Wasn't that bad, I especially thought that when watching The Footy Show later and saw that absolutely nothing had changed from the season before.

Also, no balding gutter journalist making shit up? CHECK.
No endless replays of someone doing a hamstring? CHECK.
No casual racism and making fun of peopel with mental problems or are disabled? CHECK

It's good to watch if it's on just like the footy show, won't be hanging out all week to see it. I still think BTG is still best out of the lot (sorry), even if Mick Molloy is on a tight leash.

Actually any show with Lethal on it has merit.

But it must be humiliating for a 'comedian' when the footy players are funnier.

PS Lyon is also light years from being an anchor, and having Brayshaw does not make up for that.

I actually reckon Harford or someone like that could do a better job

- Its OK only because a Hawthorn player is on it

- Peter Helliar is not funny because he doesnt follow Hawthorn

- Lyon and Brayshaw dont follow Hawthorn and therefore they are inadequate presenters.

- Any Hawthorn player ex or current could do a better job than Lyon and Brayshaw

I enjoyed it, didnt piss-fart around like they do on the footy show, The segments were done well, the comedy was semi-decent, i will definately tune in next week

Turned it off after 5 minutes. Just so disgusted with the James Bond clips and their attempt at comedy by relating them to football. Very lame. A bad first episode usually means they have lost me for the season.

I thought there was the makings of a decent show in there somewhere. I reckon:

• A new host - Helliar would be fine doing some skits/voxpops etc, but can't carry a show by himself. The show needs a straight man to carry it.
• Get rid of Dave Lawson, Pete Rowsthorn - can't really see what they add to the show. Lawson especially has never been funny in front of a live audience.
• More Richo and Matthews - apart from the fact that the way it was set up looked awkward, this was the best part of the show. Hopefully, once they have more games to talk about, this segment will be expanded and some of the "filler" will be cut out.
• Less emphasis on acting funny - let it come naturally.

I think with a few changes it could actually be quite a decent show, but time will tell.

This show was absolutely dreadful and is no further advanced than other CH7 gems like 'Four Quarters' and 'Live and Kicking'. I give it no more than a month before it's shipped off to die in the 11:30 timeslot, or canned altogether.
