the bright side

You guys weren't the best. The bright side is the roos were 0-3 last year (or the year before?) and they made finals.

It's 1 (very bad) game only. 21 left!

I knew we were in trouble just before the game started when Wallace in an interview with SEN used the words "CHERRY RIPE".:p

delib and ranger I cleared your posts. We are all hurting fighting he said, they said doesnt help give it up. Post the rubbish in the rubbish thread

Bright side is there is no bright side tonight. Got smashed. The earlier we start the rebuild the better. If we went further through the season with these same issues, there would be no way back. Clear out the deadwood. Put everyone on notice that they are playing for their spot each week. Brown should be at Coburg next week.

The fact that we got smashed tonight is a blessing.

We lost badly.....

However next week travelling to skilled stadium we will see if this team has any character.

Were the skill errors an aberration or is it the same problem that has plagued this team for years?

Skills and defensive pressure were terrible however it was missing set shots from within 50m that cost us dearly. There is no excuse for this. Every one of them had the potential to turn the tide.

Sorry if this is disjointed but i've been drowning my sorrows!

We have a young kid on the sidelines who should be used as a future role model for future drafting.Smart, poised in traffic and great balance.
In the end it all gets down to drafting. We should be looking for the factors prevalent in Cotchin as well as hard nuts who hate losing.Forget the athleticism and the razzle-dazzle.Tackles and defensive pressure wins games.
Great article by Robbo in the Herald-Sun too.Spot on.

We've been through all this before. If we win/show hope next week, then good, but why is it only after such a tragic loss the week before?

Same problems every year. :thumbsd:

At least we can only go up now...:o
