Perth Grubs this week. Since they did a flyover calling the Roar a bunch of divers, can we give their supporters a bunch of tissues at the gate?

Or maybe we can play a tribute to the great Dean Heffernan..... 'I see red' b Split Enz :)

Yeah looking forward to playing the sooky lala's this week. No matter what happens, win lose or draw I'm sure they'll find something to whinge about.

I doubt Berisha will play? It'll be interesting to see if Mulvy makes any personnel changes...hopefully he does.

I see Adelaide have accused Berisha of spitting. If he did it then he deserves a severe punishment. He's an easy target though, and if it is being blown out of proportion by the Adelaide defenders then I hope they receive an equal punishment because it is a huge accusation to throw at someone when there is no evidence.

Just wait for Brades and the Perth Glory fan brigade to come in with their anti-Brisbane/Queensland hatred if the allegations turn out to be true.

If it is, disgusting and either the FFA should suspend him, or 'rested' by the club.

If no evidence is presented or its overblown, Adelaide should STFU and those slandering the man should recieve punishment for false accusation/slander

That said, let us wait and see what investigation comes up with.

Without sparking a flame war or anything, BLU was started because a fair few didn't like the admin staff on BigFooty Lions page. There was a reasonable community, although I didn't get along with the administrator there due to his defence of a user by the name of 'Brades' who trolled the page for funs and kicks. Sound familiar?

Not more than two days ago....

'All your post does is prove to me that what I think of people from QLD is quite true...'

Considering the tone and your language the author used in the rest of your post, I could only imagine what the author thinks about people from Queensland. Then let us not forget the thread where ange when to Melbourne...

'As much class as the team he ran and as the state he coached in. 0.'

So I dislike QLD. I have a few friends from QLD, it was a generalised statement.

Also, I've never heard of BLU. I've only ever been on one footy forum... BigFooty.

Great to get a consecutive win...still very stop start type of football rather than the fluent stuff of the past couple of seasons. The ref seemed to be a disgrace at the game...someone that watched on tv might no better but Donachie's red looked extremely harsh...Berisha for complaining about a team mate copping two elbows to the head...strange decision after strange decision really...happy to be told I'm wrong by someone who saw with the benefit of replays??

Getting more and more worried about Berisha to be honest. The guy has been a loose cannon all year for us (might be argued last couple of seasons) but he shouldn't have reacted in that manner last night. Yes, Muscat (Geez, what a great reputation in the A-League than name has) should of been penalized for not one but two elbows into the head of our boy, but nothing good will coe up to the Ref and making demands for vengence.

Hopefully, if the reports are true and we're looking for another strike to help him out, that will lessen the burden on him and calm him down

Mike Mulvey was a great hire.
Yeah he is.

As soon as Po$tecoglou left us last season, I actually publicly stated that I wanted Mike Mulvey as our manager (anyone who knows me and talks football with me in real life can vouch for this), however I can understand why the club originally went with Rado.

Mike Mulvey did an amazing job with the Scum considering the circumstances.

If you look at the Gold Coast Team from last season. He was fantastic. Outside of Halloran and Anderson and Adama and Brown not much talent imo. Got a feeling Brisbane will end getting the better end of the Ange leaving deal. We stole Ange. You stole Mulvey.

We''ll have to wait and see. 2 to 3 years from now will be telling for both clubs. Victory will do well with Ange, already has. Think Victory COULD pinch a title this year, although I'm still tipping CCM

As a Heart fan, I obviously enjoyed the win today, and I don't see much of Brisbane outside their games against us, but I was just wondering how Broich is going this season? Obviously when he came to the A-League he was a revelation, some said the best ever import etc., but he doesn't seem to be the same player this season. Has his form been any good? Today he seemed willing to do anything but shoot, and his passing wasn't as sharp as I seem to remember. Nichols was also average I thought, but he obviously isn't in the same class as Broich.

Not sure if Roar will sneak into the finals... I fear Heart and Roar may be fighting over the last spot in the top six, but if Roar make it, they'll be (dare I say it) "the team you'd want to avoid". Good luck! :)

To be fair, none of our players have been the same this season so far, but this crappy season so far will be forgiven if we do well in the upcoming Asian Champions League. I think we will narrowly sneak into the finals of this A-League then get knocked out on the first week.

And for us it's some consolation that we lost to you guys rather than the "Victory" $cum. Can't stand them.

Broich has been terrible by his standards. I've heard that he has openly said that he is finding it hard to get motivated after achieving everything for the past two seasons and being rewarded with the long term contract...and his performances have shown a lack of botherment if thats a word :) Once you start the season like he and the team has it's not easy just to flick the switch and start performing like he/they used to. For a start the opposition have lost the fear factor and that is a big part of our success over the past couple of years.

Personally I'll be surprised if we make finals, and even if we do we won't go far...you need to finish in the top two in this finals format to have a real chance

He was only standing up for a teammate because he saw two blatant elbows to the face. He has taken Fitzgerald under his wing a bit and wont stand crap like that from opposition players. If you see him play he has been more mild compared to last year, more friendly with opposition players unless they do the wrong thing. Matt Smith talked about it as well, the team is changing it's attitude towards these sorts of on field bullying of teammates whereas previously during the season they were more tolerant.

Rumor time...I've heard that Paartulu to a Chinese club is about to happen, possibly as early as tomorrow? Also that Chris Harrold might move from Perth to Roar and we're interested in the guy Davies? that has been released by Victory...

As for moves that have happened...I've never like Jade North as a player but at A League level he should be good for us. Rocky Visconte moving to WSW is good for both parties, not sure what whether he'll play regularly for them or not, but he wasn't going to be getting a go with us anymore...
