We know it's now a midfielders award. Umpires have been bullied by the media into giving high possession games votes, because of that game where Greg Williams got 44 possessions (aprox), and didn't get a vote.
With all due respect to Cripps and Nick Daicos, last year waa an embarrassing farce imo.
Add to that about 2 hours of adds, cross promotion and Hamish McIntosh

Concur. Won’t watch, will not GAF, midfielder award, best player for the year rarely wins it, just a promotional event for influencer WAGS and Instagram uploads.

I’ll give the Saddam Hussein execution a rewatch instead.

Historically we have never got all the 3, 2, 1 in wins and rarely get any votes in losses. We havent had many standout performances so I suspect we get a heap of players in the 6 to 10 range but none get more than 15.

Our total votes will be lower than any other top 8 team.

Why would that be interesting if you expect it? It would be more interesting if some Hawk like Impey got 20 votes.
