Mississippi State Bulldogs 22 defeated by Iowa Hawkeyes 27.

Iowa Defeats Mississippi State in the Outback Bowl

The 33rd edition of the Outback Bowl at Raymond James Stadium was another great finish, with the Iowa Hawkeyes defeating the Mississippi State Bulldogs for their third Outback Bowl victory. At the end of the third, Iowa led Michigan State 19-24. Then, Jace Christmann nailed a 20-yard field goal for Mississippi State, closing the gap to 22-24 with only 12:04 remaining. Miguel Recinos then kicked a 40-yard field goal for Iowa with 5:51remaining, leaving the final score at 22-27.

Bevo almost runs over Uga

Before the Sugar Bowl, Texas mascot Bevo the longhorn steer breaks out of his enclosure and almost runs over Georgia's mascot the bulldog Uga.

Anyway, Texas defeated Georgia 28 - 21.
