I agree that elections are just poll-driven farces where the best story-teller wins.

But: "They're not slowing the outsourcing of jobs!!!!"

Why would anyone? Outsourcing of jobs (a) helps developing nations and (b) helps the US by giving its citizens cheaper services. Sure there is some intermediate pain as people have to retrain but, well, this shit happens.

It isn't the job of government to protect people from the very system that gives them th lifestyle and consumer choices they want.

The world is changing faster than it ever has before. People like this journo are simply unwilling to accept that.
