I hear this mate. Had a window seat returning from Brisbane, bloke looks like he is about to sit next to me and I say would you like me to move my stuff to which he replies that's ok, I'm just in the seat behind you.

Within a few minutes an absolute stunner pulls up into my row and I ask her as she goes to sit down if she would like me to move my stuff which she replies that is up to you but I will be fine.
Before you know it, I have cleared the seat in seconds and spent the flight engaging in small talk.
Fun conversation had, no expectations even though I had the mile high fantasy in my head.
