Just reported on C7 news that the SANFL Clubs want Port to pay a fee for playing in the SANFL (The Crows pay about $400K p.a.).

Didn't we forego our share in the proceeds of the sale of Footy Park sometime back so why should we then have to pay an additional fee on top of that.

It was reported that we have a 15 year agreement with the SANFL on the no fee payment.

I thought that for the pleasure of fielding a team in the competition we founded we forego 400k previously distributed to us as an annual SANFL dividend......and we get no share of AAMI proceeds.

The lack of distribution from AAMI sale proceeds was to help drag them kicking and screaming to Adelaide Oval (???) so they could grow fat from the F&B sales.

SA football lore also has us not paying back all the money the SANFL "gifted" us to buy our tarps and such and such.
