It feels like this thread is just a thinly veiled reason to have yet another go at Clarke.
I don't think it is that at all.

IMO Clarke is doing a fine job of the captaincy so far.

The thread simply sets out the concerns I - and it would seem some others - have about the potential for inter-personal problems between captain and teammates as a result of the captain taking on a formal selection role.

I have a view it will create a significant problem at some point. It is not a criticism of Clarke directly.

Yeah, I definitely see your point about it being a recipe for some sort of future fall-out. I guess I'm just sick of the Clarke batting and this thread just opens it up for more of the same ... even though you didn't intend that.
