I thought Jimmy was the next big thing. Loved him.
If you watched Jimmy at all it didn't take too long to work out his big issue.

Was a very average kick. No problems getting it. Some problems getting it to person on same team.

Was also famous for saying aveagoodweekend to Max Walker in aerogard ads as well

listened live to the dyer call of the 70 gf whilst taping it on my portable cassette player - unfortunately dad & I listened to it so often the batteries would run down and ultimately it somehow ruined the tape - what a treasure trove you have there, bf!!

They got a fair work out back in the day might need a bit of restoration work.

I know you will probably want to hang on to them, but I am sure the Blueseum and Tony de Bolfo would love to have a listen.

More than happy to do so if that is the case and happy to leave them to the club, along with the 1959 History of the Carlton Football Club hard covered book signed by the entire list in 1967 and the huge framed piece with the 1968, 1970 & 1972 footy records and the Carlton Football Club yearbooks from those years.

Who did Mick want as the captain? Someone who wasn't in the best 22?

I'm looking at players who were in and out of the side and who might be considered hard at it types or intelligent types.

Duigan was pretty much in the 22. Only played 16 games in 2012 but that may have been due to injury.

Simon White was not a guaranteed best 22 player.

Still, pretty shitty of Mick to tell Murph that he didn't want him AFTER the player group voted for him.

You lucky bugger.
I wish I had vague memories of the time Mick was coach. God I wish I did.
