When we’re crying out for elite ball use, whatever his shortcomings, it’s on the coaching staff to find a spot and utilise Boyd’s skills to elevate our output. It’d be a shame for him to land elsewhere next year (hello Saints) and slot straight in…
Nah, SOS can have him. Boyd has had enough time to solidify his position in our team. We have been crying out for more

run and carry all season and he still has not been picked. Am aware that he got 30 possies last week in the magoos.

Was doing most of the kick outs though, so quiet a few easy one's. Just another footballer caught between, to good for VFL

level and not quiet good enough for a regular AFL gig. At this stage, looks like he will not be playing for us next year.

The guy that’s been dropped half a dozen times while his team has lingering near the bottom 4?

SOS has really shown himself up as being a one trick pony with no idea as a list manager. Bringing all those GWS players to Carlton could be forgiven since he really stripped the list back and we needed warm bodies in the meantime. But then he becomes the Saints list manager and is doing the same thing by bringing in unwanted Carlton players that he originally drafted. Problem with that is St Kilda’s list when he became the list manager at that club was much further along than our list was when he became our list manager.

And it’s all to do with him not wanting the footy world to think that drafting these, now-delisted and unwanted, players was a mistake. It’s all ego driven.

I don’t know what you’re showing me but you’ve lost me.
Former Blue Liam Stocker has signed with St Kilda for 2023 via the pre-season Supplemental Selection Period.

Silvagni returns to the club as list manager having previously been an assistant coach under Ross Lyon between 2007 and 2010.
Allan has been named the club's head of talent and acquisition, with both to start in their new roles on February 15.

And use him more offensively not defensively. Play him to his strengths

100%. I feel sometimes Coaches focus too much on weaknesses and not what someone brings to side

There is a feeling that Boyd doesn’t commit himself 100% to AFL and is comfortable where he is. Not that he doesn’t try or work hard but that he just does enough.

He has other interests and a life outside football. My gut feel is Voss doesn’t like that type of player. He wants all in

I don't believe for a second the numbers being spouted for St Kilda's offer to TDK are anywhere near accurate. It'll be heavily incentive based for sure as well.

There's only 2 scenarios I see if TDK does not re-sign -

We match and TDK stays, and is happy to do so.

We match, on the proviso that TDK and his manager are onboard with forcing St Kilda to pay up with draft picks or third club involved players.

Most of the best RFAs last year didn't re-sign until July and August so not surprised nothing has happened yet.

I’m confident they are accurate and it’s guaranteed money

I'll pay that last bit. 100% Vossy. He absolutely cannot fathom a player not being as committed as he was/is.

If we lose to north and get pumped by Collingwood, I can see a sacking.
The Port game in a fortnight shapes this season imo. Port and us both should win this weekend and both be pushing for the finals. Friday night next week, big stage in Adelaide. Lose that weekend and the pitchforks will be out being 2 if not 3 wins out of the finals race.
