JVR will be picked for round 1 next year hopefully alongside Tmac or even Petty playing forward too.

Need to bring in classy ball users. Bowey obviously but we need more. All our mids are crap kicks except for Trac and even then he's fallen off in that area.

Time for the board to bring back the 'outside speed and class' meme.

Viney, Gus, Oliver all significantly worse kicks than Trac.

Petracca's kicking has been poor this year but for the most part he has been solid throughout his career. Also used to be much more willing to go for the more dangerous option. Totally lost that this year.

He never takes dangerous kicks through the corridor or switches the play. He should be able to 2 step find Langdon or Jordan on the other side of the ground but he never does. He's a bad kick who's capable of an incredible one.

Will be an interesting game , Southport have a number of players that could probably play AFL for the lowest clubs so many of them have something to prove (especially last week to the Suns who cut them or didn't give them an opportunity) . The main ones to cover are Woodcock, Dawson and Foot, they also have some effective loose units in Crossley and Pescud.

A setback could mean anything, it's obviously bad news, but it could mean he's completely ****ed it again and will miss chunk of pre-season - or it might mean he's had a flare up and will only miss a few weeks.

Recurring foot injuries are bad news though.
