Has anyone visited the online cats shop?

You can't even purchase an adult short sleeve hoops guernsey at all!

They have the clash guernsey but the smallest size is XL.
There is a 3XL ffs! hahaha If anyone needs a 3XL I think they should be saving every penny for that inevitable triple bypass..

I like the look of the training singlets too but nowhere to be found either.

The PR/Marketing people at the club have no idea, we have just won the premiership and they don't want to cash in on it??

Even the Kangas have a better online shop than us.

That's so stupid that you can't buy an adult short sleeve guernsey, I swear I saw one on there not long ago though.
Lucky I still fit into kids sizes, only just though, so I probably won't get one.
They did have the training singlets on there as well but they've taken it off for some reason.
I don't like the training singlets though, they have such a high neck, it'd be so easy to choke someone in one of them. :p

Yeah, there I've noticed there isn't much available in the online shop.

As for the triple bypass for a 3XL guernsey, you're going a little over the top there, I used to be rather large (120KG was the heaviest, but still struggled with 100KG), but always wanted a guernsey. Obviously didn't want it tight to show off those bulges, now that I'm down to a regular size (medium to large) in most clothes. I still have an XL guernsey to wear over the top of other clothing if need be. So I wouldn't say a 3XL guernsey would be too far off.

Hmmm enough ramble for me.

As do I! It's great, that stuff is cheaper than adult sizes. :thumbsu:

I've never shopped online before, but the shop kinda sucks in general, in regards to variety of the items they have, imo. Walking through the Bomber Shop, I'm very jealous. (Not of the Bomber stuff, but of the variety they have)

This really shows where society is going doesn't it.. when someone is delusional enough to think 120kg is healthy. Maybe if your 7ft+... heh. Running 10km every 6 months... pfft, so what??? Book yourself in for a diabetes check..

Sorry to intrude, but you guys do realise, like all clubs, that Geelong are dependant on their supplier.

The Cats have only just gone to a new apparal sponsor and no doubt demand is at an all time high.

They can only offer what their manufacturers can supply them with.

For what it's worth, Geelong aren't the only club with the issue.

StKilda, Melbourne, Collingwood are all in the same boat.

Thats fair, they would be dependant on the suppliers, but the website is still sh!thouse regardless..

Theres no excuse why all merchandise can't be shown on the site regardless of its availability.

Youd think that a preferred option would be having the full range of merchandise to view with some kind of "Sold Out" indicator, rather than just removing the items from the site..

To anyone that doesn't live in Geelong, this site is the storefront of the club and I don't think they invest enough resources into it.

I found this on eBay, its the new jumper for next year...... It actually looks pretty good.

Thats the clash guernsey for 2008 from what I understand. I have to say that I think it looks terrible in the flesh... really cheap. Not a fan!! I tried for weeks to get one of the '07 clash guernseys and couldn't find them anywhere... DAM IT... they looked awesome!! My advice is, have a look at one of those new ones before you buy it... I really hope they change this style for '09.

The AFL websites for ALL teams are maintained by bigpond.

The entire site is one of the worst I have ever seen. "Click here for footy train timetable" Hello - the season is over !

Some links go around in circles, some are misleading, some are out of date.

I lodged a complaint with the web support people, and they even misinterpreted my problems.

Let the football clubs all know that the sites are crap and something MAY get done.

Yep, the site was much better when it was stand-alone, easy navigation, and a clean interface, now it's so clunky it's hard to know where to start.
