Could have been a best fifteen today. M. Boyd, Woody, Picken, Kobyashi and the Jongmeister unlucky in particular.

5 - Murphy, Sublime, hard to imagine a halfback playing a better game
4 - Stringer, should have had 8 goals in 3 quarters, poor Kyle Hartigan left visibly shaken somewhere.
3 - Dahlhaus , Terrific apart from the ill-fated attempt at a handball.
2 - Macrae , Best game for the year by far. 13 contested posessions, 7 tackles and a goal. Needs this balance moving forward.
1 - Talia , fair job on Tex.

EDIT: I just realised that Bontempelli wasn't included in my pups votes - he is just so bloody good that I don't get the least bit excited by a game that should have me in raptures over a second year 19 year old. The Bont has truly arrived. He is judged to a higher standard.

Special mention to Lucas Webb - not many play a second AFL game to that standard. We've got a 200 gamer here.

5. Murph - please have the longevity of Fletcher!
4. Stringer - that's about as beast mode as you can get
3. Picken - Mr Heart and Soul
2. JJ - best game from him
1. Talia - can't do much more as a KPD

3. Stringer
2. Macrae
1. Jong
Strange that neither Bonts or Macrae are not in my top 5 - how good is that?

Webb as sub

Why isn't Talia a pup when he was born in 93 just like Clay?
Mike__ the Chingmeister has ruled on this. Players have to be under 22 at the start of the season (April). Talia and Darley were born in Feb 1993 so they had just turned 22. Clay was born in May 93 so he was still 21 when the season started.
Full list of pups is in the OP of the Ching sticky.
