because they're both not stupid. why would mitchell take over when theyre about to go off the cliff list wise? why would he make the mistake of previous assistants and go for the senior job too soon? similar to the roos/longmire situation IMO. slow transition.

why would clarko want to come to st kilda? he knows what makes successful clubs. need more than just him. he's contracted until 2020, will get an extension until 2021 for one last crack at it. they wont release him, nor will he seek release.

People on here saying he is the Clarko prodigy, so yeah he could take over after one year if he wanted to.
