Mark Trevor Marshall is a notorious paedophile from South Australia, convicted of sex crimes that date back to the 80s. He's currently in prison where he writes a lot.
His written confessions to a counsellor put him at the scene of some of Adelaide's most baffling abduction/murders, the Beaumont children, the Adelaide Oval abductions and he also alleges his family's involvement in the solved crimes of paedophile and child killer Dieter Pfennig.
The documented confessions were submitted to the Mullighan Inquiry but Major Crimes have dismissed the claims, saying they are his “sexual fantasies”.
Basically, his claims are that he was raised by a cult who abducted and trafficked children for abuse. Searches have been initiated at properties his grandfather Stanley Hart owned on his information where nothing was found and he's been mentioned in a recently released serialized podcast.
Has there really been, as Marshall claims, a family cult of paedophiles freely operating in South Australia for decades abducting children for sex trafficking and murder?
Should he be given any credibility or is he just another attention seeker further exploiting children and their families by attempting to insert himself into every unsolved major crime against a child in the state of South Australia with his sick fantasies?
