A suggestion for a team of 'Cleanskins' - Aplologies for the leaning to Hawthorn

Lekkas - Fletcher - M Young
Burke - Schwartz - Rock
Crawford - Buckley - McLeod
Koutafides - Hird - Holland
Modra - A Rocca - Farmer
Salmon - Harvey - Bell

Dont know about a few ofthe guys, pess. I think your looking through rose coloured glasses. Lekkas doesnt mind a dip. Schwarter I would definetly not get in the way of and bucks and cindy both sometimes "appear"ready to let one fly. :)

otherwise yeah not a bad side atall.

Mine would be

Mcintosh - Fletcher - Young

Wellman - Gaspar - Hart

N.Lappin - Bradley - Campbell

Hudson (capt) - M.Robram - O'louglin

Burns - Lloyd - Alessio

Allan - Knights - Bewick

Not so much a team of clean skins more of those percieved (righltyor wrongly) of being a "little bit soft".

What? You managed to get 5 Essendon players in and missed out Hird and Mercuri? I take it that's the same Fletcher that restricted Carey to three kicks in the Ansett GF and the same Lloyd who embarrassed "hard-man" Martyn in the same game?

How about this for a hard-nut side? I need some help with the forwards though....

Solomon, Martyn, Barnard
Hardwick, Archer, Wallis
Moorcroft, Libba, Barry Young
Pike, Carey, Mark Johnson
?,Hall, ?

Everitt, F.Brown, Jason Johnson
Interchange: King, Rintoul, Lange

Wow that's only 7 Essendon players (and one recent one).

Hey,
I would have agreed with Anthony until this year, but he is starting have a go, he really hasn't got the build for that sort of thing anyway. But if you have watched him recently you could see he is starting to chase the ball alot more. Anyway enough of that!

Dutchman I never said that the five blokes from the dons couldnt play.(hell I wish we still had Hudson, softest $^$#^& I think ive seen but BOY that guy can find the goals). Its just a perception that they are , not quite as hard at it as some. Anyone who has watched Hird and Merc at close quarters would know that neither of them NEED to be the hardest at it as they just glide......... whoosh over the field. We have one in Harford who is like that (though his is more laziness I rekon. At least sometimes I rekon) :confused

Your hard nut side isnt to bad but no way Wallis. Tough as teak maybe but in all honsety you cant actually call him a footballer, that is stretching things abit far!
