Soft. What could be more important than revelling in our downhill skiing?voluntary - I'm given to understand. Taking some time out while busy but will be back.

no. I think he's getting Tulip mixed up with demondaveyAre we still talking about Tulip?
I always believed in Goody and never said a bad word about him. I like to think he felt my support and it kept him grounded while all you drongos were potting him.
We look a lot better structurally with Tmac forward which I imagine we planned around all pre season so would have thrown the balance out whilst he missed the first 5 weeks.
Goody doing just fine.
Like having Wagner and Tomas Bugg in the side?I think we really need to see what ensues when someone actually puts some pressure on us. Casey still seems to be displaying some of the more frustrating issues that we were having earlier in the season.
Maybe that's because Goodwin isn't their coachI think we really need to see what ensues when someone actually puts some pressure on us. Casey still seems to be displaying some of the more frustrating issues that we were having earlier in the season.
My badno. I think he's getting Tulip mixed up with demondavey

The only game plan I see is beating up nerdsI'm curious to see how we go a month from now, or if we lose a key player or two like TMac. Game plan seems to rely heavily on the versatility or around the ground impact of a few players like McDonald, Gawn, Hogan, etc. All well and good to have a great game plan if all your top cattle are on the park, but the coach still needs to be able to make the plan work with the backup crew if it comes down to it (like not bombing it long to our midget forward line while the opposition has a loose tall in the back line). We're also in a good run of form at the moment and actually look surprisingly competent, but we had a run of games last year where we looked the part and then devolved back into our standard mess.
Would like to see:
- sustained run of form - more than a good month here and there
- still playing decent football if we happen to lose a key player or two

We play the Dogs twice from here before we play the Cats, Suns, or Crows again lol (and before we play the Swans, Giants, and Eagles for the first time). I think if we’re lodged in the top 4 before our draw gets tough again we’ll have a lot of confidence going into those harder games, which will help a lotLong may it continue.
Just looked at the draw - we've got Collingwood in 8th in a few weeks, and the next time we're lined up to play a top 8 side is round 18 against the kitties. Port are in 9th, but otherwise we play droogs for best part of the next two months. Would be nice to see us lock down a top 4 spot over that period.
I’m holding it down with a massive sack of s**t labelled “round 23 heartbreak”.Hopefully we can get to the bye at 9-3. Then we should really push for top four. Then from there anything can happen. Gee wiz it's hard keeping this lid on.
I sort of think in this way last year’s round 23 debacle can really work to our advantage this year. At any hint of the players getting ahead of themselves, Goody and the rest of the coaches have the ideal reference point to say: “before you think you’re all that and a bag of chips just cast your mind back to this.”I’m holding it down with a massive sack of s**t labelled “round 23 heartbreak”.
At this rate my lid is nailed shut until about 8 years after a threepeat
A prescient post indeed sir! And what, pray tell, are the conditions of the Faustian pact you have made with the football gods so that you can merely wish to see the loss of a key player and lo - down falleth Jake Lever, young chb of great promise?I'm curious to see how we go a month from now, or if we lose a key player or two like TMac. Are you Norm Smith?Wouldn't class Lever as a key player. What would be interesting is if Gawn, Hogan, TMac, Oliver, OMac and Hibberd all suffered season-ending injuries next Moonday against le Pies. That would really provide food for thought.
