I understand your point but given that we gave Rowe an extra year on his contract as well as giving Hartlett a brand new contract which even he was surprised to get, nothing would surprise me these days.

Nobody outside of a club knows how good an assistant coach is.
It is impossible to tell, so I'm prepared to give Mick the benefit of the doubt.

That's the part that confounds me. I get the move of Green to the forwardline coach, it is a much better fit IMO, but I don't understand Barker as forward, defence or orange-peeler coach.

Funny enough, they don't even put enough blame on their off-field culture and activities that has occurred in the past few years. Their players are average on-field, and are worse off-field.
