As long as Ratten can help us find a way to try and beat Geelong I'm happy.
We beat Collingwood 3 times and Carlton beat Collingwood 2 times. So between Hawthorn and Ratten against Collingwood = 5 -0 in 2012As long as Ratten can help us find a way to try and beat Geelong I'm happy.

Who cares? Lose to Geelong until 2020 and win premierships in the meantime and all is fine.
Ratten may just be your missing link..................as a matter of fact he looks like the missing link...........................Just kidding..............Love the Ratts.

Yes please!I would be happy to lose to Carlton if it meant we beat Geelong.![]()
Maybe next year!Ratts would know the secret to beating Carlton ............. Oh wait.![]()

Let me just preface this by stating that I know a lot of media beating up goes on but at the moment it seems like we've been linked to every one but landed no one. We can't even land O'Bree as an assistant. Are we being out-bid for everyone?
Shoddy journalism![]()
It is that time of year when the media can offer up rumours as fact & then not be held to account when they don't come to pass. The journo who suggested that O'Bree had been signed by Carlton had probably been told by his source that O'Bree would be in Navy Blue & White next year & assumed this meant Carlton. As was stated in the article announcing O'Bree's appointment to Geelong, he played with a few of the Cats' coaching staff & was most likely keen to work with these people.Let me just preface this by stating that I know a lot of media beating up goes on but at the moment it seems like we've been linked to every one but landed no one. I'd still be happy should we sign McLeod although Nathan Bassett would be the bigger of the catches one may think.
Are Hawthorn still into Bassett?
They write garbage such as the following just to fill columns in their newspapers. It is that time of year when the media can offer up rumours as fact & then not be held to account when they don't come to pass. Giants hang on to young ruckmanGREATER Western Sydney appears certain to beat Collingwood to the punch by retaining impressive first-year ruckman Jonathan Giles.
Giles remains out of contract, but the Giants said yesterday they were confident the big man would soon agree to the terms of a new two-year deal and turn his back on the Magpies.
Collingwood had considered Giles, 24, as a future replacement for its veteran No 1 ruckman, Darren Jolly.
