Made it ok, thanks. Was told to work from home today though because it's just freezing rain and slush out there now.

Yeah sounds pretty nasty.
I was checking the Vancouver forecast and it seems the below freezing temps and snow have eased up though.

What is this cold you're all talking about?

Not much happening here.
Maybe a small chance of snow about the higher peaks here on Sunday night/Monday morning.

Perth did have their coldest February day on record (17.2 degrees) which is pretty cool.

Hopefully for all the mainlanders sake going through these heat waves we get a fast start to Autumn come March.
I also love to colder weather as it means the footy season is here.

Yep, that should be it for the cold stuff now. Snow should melt and be washed away over the next week or so as the temperature gets back into double-digits.

I've been out for a walk* the past two nights and needed to go with either a jacket or jumper both times due to it being a bit chilly. That, to me, is perfection.

* Yeah that's right, I often go for walks in the evening. Come at me.

Sunday Max was 18.6 degrees
With an overnight low of 9.8 degrees
Monday Max was 17.2 degrees
Withan overnight low of again 9.8 degrees

Really nice weekend. (It was a long weekend here)

Days heating back up again abit now though.
Though i can see a trend of gradual cooling down overnight which is good.
I hate hot nights, below 5 degrees at night is perfect for me.
I'm a snowman :p

I rather put up with a bit of heat than have the head f*** of snow. It looks pretty, but practically it's just a pain in the arse.

Agreed. When I was in the UK it's such a pain in the arse. Going down the street to get a beer or something to eat and you need to rug up like you're exploring Antarctica. **** that.

I love playing sports outdoors in about 0 or 5 degrees. Rarely happens in Melbourne but find it far easier to run for a long time than when 10 or 20 degrees.

I feel sorry for A-League players, most players in Europe and other countries play in the colder months.
We have had players having to play soccer in 40 degree heat here.

So much colder in the central plateu and west coast than Hobart.

Yup that's true.
I'll need get off my arse and visit sometime. :)

I wonder if Australia's all time record low will ever be beaten.
You never know, some scientists even believe another Ice Age could happen.

Week ahead down here.
Pretty cold one tomorrow with some much needed rain!
My lawn has been yellow for months.

Looks like a cool weekend for Melbourne as well.

Yesterday was perfect for my hangover. UberEATS delivered me a burger and chips, I watched about 15 episodes of HIMYM and it was nice and cool on the couch with the sound of rain outside.

Canberra had it's coldest February night on record.
2.8 degrees.

Quite a bit of unseasonable cold around the southeast lately.
Looks to be warming tomorrow.
