Two degrees here in western Vic at 8.49pm tonight. For the first time in decades I'm feeling the cold, which may have something to do with the somewhat persistent (but small amount of) rain we've had over the past month as well as the cool temps. I don't mind as cold is easier to overcome than heat.

Feels weird to finally be acclimated to Victoria's weather. Used to be fine in -5 to 0 degrees in Tas, but need a jumper now if it goes below 15.

So yesterday was the coldest May day in Melbourne for 20 years
Watch all the interstaters come in and laugh at Melbourne's weather, you know those people that have regular major floods and cyclones and minimum overnight temps of 30 degrees and 99% humidity ;)

About time it started getting cold. Been wondering where it had gone what with it being warmer and drier then on average.

Bone chilling wind and rain the last couple days here.

Yesterday was a max of 10.1 degrees.
Today a bit warmer, currently 13 degrees.

Cold is good. Whiskey, camp fires, slow cooked food, deer hunting, salami making...hell yes.
The key is to find hobbies that make the most of the weather so you are distracted.

Yeah, it has its good points.
My knees, hip and shoulder are arguing to the contrary though.
Gold Coast became Cold Coast that Morning

400km's from the GC!

The top apparent temp we had today was 6.6 degrees. Now 4.3.
The top actual temp was 13.0. Now 10.3.

AND IT CAN GO AND GET STUFFED!

We had a couple of windy days with some rain early in the week, that was a bit cold. But not terrible. Wet and windy are about the only times it really bothers me. Minus five and still isn't comfortable, but not bad either. Not that we've that yet this year, I think minus two is as low as its been and then its near zero by the time I head off to work.
Minus five beats thirty-five any day.

The bay breeze in Meblourne used to do me when I first moved there. Somehow it seemed colder than the winds I was used to around Launceston (except when the south-westerly comes in off the plateau, that bastard can compete with the Antarctic howler going up the river in Hobart that hits Bellerive).
