15 would be a luxury right now. House hasn't been above 14 degrees since the weekend.

Looking from afar it doesn’t seem that cold. I think it’s wind direction and humidity that makes the difference. 12-14 degrees sounds fine but if you’re getting that southern breeze off the water I know Melbourne can feel damn cold.

I was mowing the lawn in shorts yesterday. Was only 18 degrees but it was still and humidity over 80% so was sweating.

In FNQ it got down to 13 at one point last night, which is lower than in 2021. Got so many doonas that my damn foot was cramping all night.

After a few years up here you become colder blooded and more soft. Still, I went for an outdoor pool swim early yesterday, and also wore shorts. Refreshing to have lower humidity and a cold snap, feel like the body craves it like a revitalizing cold shower.

Apparently it got down to -4, -8.6 apparent. I wasn't outside to closer to 9am though, above zero by that point. A bit of a breeze off the lake, otherwise it was fine.
But, yeah, 25 and I'm struggling - if its humid with it, breathing can get difficult.
