That would mean he could get the 3rd best batsman out, but he can't.

Johnson & Starc don't need someone down the other end drying up the runs to get wickets, they either bowl really well or really sh!t.
Siddle was alright early on in his career when he at least moved the ball a little. Nowadays he bowls half rat power straight up and down, any half decent test batsman eats him for breakfast.

Hes back to speed and moves it enough
 
We have to bat for 67 overs today just to take this Test into a third day. Sport is crazy sometimes.

I thought he should have gone after the World Cup, you couldn't have picked a more perfect time to bow out than after winning a World Cup on home soil.

Think his back ruined things more than anything

Felt like his career went quick

* they rack up tests these days

Border played 156 or so and was around for about 400 years

Clarke got almost 120 in a blink of an eye

Smith should never bat at 3.
Don't mind Marsh but he should bat 3 when they play him.

The whole team is just far too inconsistent.

Shaun Marsh is the best no3 in the country. Mental fragility is his problem.

If they make Smith captain it will be a mistake. He will be out of the team in a year's time.
Bring back Watson to captain and let him open.

Have a look at the cupboard, it's bare.

Remember when Siddons and Cox and Law and others were piling on the shield runs and couldn't get a game?
There are very few shield batsman that are up to standard. IMO Marsh is the best of them and you think he is a spud.
