Nice fightback from the Aussies . Kept the poms out there all day which may pay diviends as the series goes .

How long can we persist with him? We've got a longer tail than usual without Starc so to run a team with five batsmen, four bowlers, a keeper and someone who struggles to average five in his last twenty innings in England is pretty negligent.

Should have been moved on 12 months ago . CA probably worried about what the Warners come out with once the non-disclosure re sandpapergate expires.

Renshaw isnt everyones cup of tea but we have torched him.
Game would be well suited to England.

Luckily Anderson looks like he has lost his zip imo . So that should help us as Broad wont be able to cover a huge workload at his age .

For all the talk about how quick and chaotic Bazball is, the Poms have crawled through their over rate during the first session. 18 overs in 90 minutes is as poor an effort as the Windies in the 80s.

At least the Windies had great bowlers that were worth watching.
