This is the part of cricket I hate the most. Putting the field back offering the single to get the tailender on strike. This means for at least half the time we are not trying to get a batsman out. I believe the bowlers and fielding team lose their focus whilst this is happening.

It still amazes me sometimes watching the Ch9 coverage of cricket. They have been doing it for 30+ years and still we end up with shit live coverage.

Just keep the ball in frame the whole time please... I don't care about the look of a bowlers face.

I loved Michael Holding's comments, particularly the one where it doesn't matter how many ODI and T20 titles you win, a cricket nation is rated on its' performance in the Test arena.

Yep. We all complain when our players choose to play the shorter form of the game and then we complain again when they get rested and not picked.

Given that Shield cricket resumes on 24th Jan, Im happy for our test players to play there and leave the other stuff to the best of the rest.
