Most of our bats faced between 13 and 31 balls and most of them got out to poor shots. Conventional wisdom is that the most difficult time on a turning wicket is those first couple of overs. Unforgivable that so many made it through the most dangerous period and didn't work hard enough to capitalise.Thinking back on your comment re Watson's dismissal and the way they played today just showed you exactly the difference in batsmanship. They made sure they were in, played cautiously, then lit rip. Watson had a few sighters and started to shoot from the hip early. "He thought he was dominating."
