Brilliant crowd. Couldn't believe how packed level 3 was for an interstate game. :thumbsu:

Surely they've got to move the Hawthorn game? A good chance of 80k at the G, all things being equal.

It's ridiculous. Assuming we are both top 4, this game could have a huge bearing on the finals. Could see it getting over 80k easily.

I think the 17 Brions fans were sitting near me and my mates, provided us with plenty of amusement through the afternoon.

Great turn out from the Carlton faithful.

Was a great turnout.

Have to Roast the flogs who booed Jonathon Brown in the third quarter though. :thumbsd:

It wasn't booing him - it was bronx cheers - which should be taken as an applause for the absolutely spectacular game that Jamo had. :thumbsu:

You can't cheer for a full back -- not like you can a goal scorer. The only way that the crowd has of cheering for his performance aside from when he's called off of the ground towards the end of the game is to deliver the bronx cheers when his opponent finally garners a meaningless possession when the game has been decided.

Great to see so many there, but why can't we do this for the big games such as against Collingwood? We're always incredibly outnumbered, yet we've proven that we have supporters wiling to go to games.

Since when? Where do you sit, in the Pies cheersquad?

If he's referring to the Collingwood game played this season the fact that it was their home game probably had quite a lot to do with it. Though, to be honest, I never really noticed it. It's not going to be 8 to 1 every week, particularly against the Melbourne based clubs (save for the Bulldogs and North).

The tables will turn when it is ours.

Biggest H&A crowd between Carlton and Brisbane Lions/Bears ever, third biggest if you include Fitzroy.

Really should be 45k+ against Sydney next week as it's a genuine contest and the Swans have a lot more supporters

My sister and i are members, we book seats when we want.

Took my neice who is in a wheelchair, when I rang Ticketek and booked a month ago, told them I was a Carlton member, and wanted seats on the second level around carlton people.........only ones available were behind the Coventry end goals, so we booked , get seated and we are smack bang in the Lions gold corp members, with Brent Staker two up from me....we lasted one quarter Etihad staff were really helpful and we managed new seats in section close by a wheelchair section that had maybe six wheelchair sections EMPTY.............go figure, amongst Carlton fans and a few Lions,
What happens with seat allocation through ticketek, it;s ridiculous, I;m ringing the membership people next week (yeh I know ) too pass on my feedback.

We had a good day, loved the win, Blues on fire :thumbsu:

I was sitting on level 2 with the sun in my eyes allday and the roar of "ball" coming from the shady end was brilliant, then 2E's goal sent the crowd right off! Loved it!

Top effort taking your niece like that. How old is she, she like her Blues? Hope she had a grouse day. Maybe in time the sales dept might get to know you and work out some sort of regular arrangement for you? Respect. :thumbsu:

That sun looked pretty nice from the iceberg of the Lockett end!

Would have traded seats with anyone down the other end, there was a bit of a haze and really hard to see what was going on at times.

I strated with a beanie, scarf and coat on, left in my hawiian shorts and shirt with zinc on my nose.

Ha, I started with thermals and snowgear and had to steal another coat from a blind man busking at Southern Cross. :o
