So right now our fringe is, in my opinion lacking and I am hopeful that some of our development/outer fringe types show some big efforts to replace the current "next in line"
Shows how bad we are to be honest. In our best 16 you have 5 players who i believe are only making up the numbers and are there to add experience meaning going forward we need to add 5 from the fringe. Out of your list of 16 fringe players i have 8 players that wont be there within 2 years and the same goes for the outer fringe list too.
We have a lot of wotrk to do and it will take 3-4 years of good drafting to get there not just one.

Sydney have the deepest clearance unit in the league, and frankly we're not that far behind.http://m.afl.com.au/news/2016-04-06/how-deep-is-your-teams-list
About as deep as an AFL.com article
I'm hoping that the MC keep bringing in youngsters like they have for the first 2 weeks. That'll build more depth and help us to work out our holes. After watching v Sydney, we need more mids inside and out.
Plowman, Rainbow, Dick, Jones, Tutt, White, Jaksch and Cunningham all had quality games in the twos on the weekend.so, how about that depth?
I'll be as generous as I want thankyouThink you're being a bit generous with half that list, FBI.
We'll know our depth is sufficient when we can have two guns out of our side and not miss a beat and not feel the need to use it as an excuse...
This thread is attracting more posters, definitely seeing more depth.
Fair point, Jab.
yep.......fair point.......

Where is the ******* depth? ffs
so, how about that depth?
Comparing us to Richmond funk, fmd now you're talking about Depths of Despair.Have we become Richmond FC??
"Sharp as a bag of wet mice..............".Remember thy, we need to improve the quality of depth, not just the quantity....
Although I can't help but read your posts in the voice of Foghorn Leghorn... Listen here boy, I say listen here....![]()
