Wow! That 2017 list!The quality of your depth players plays a part as well, go back a few years and take a look at some of the players on our list.
2017
kerridge, Boekhorst, Lamb,Smedts. Jaksch, Sumner, Palmer,Graham, Polson, Gorringe , Kerr, Lebois,

Mullett, O'Shea, Shaw
Some of these players were serviceable at times at best.
Makes a big difference when your list generally is made up of better quality players. It also allows some of the younger players to develop rather than being thrown into the team before they are ready.
Plumbing the depths there.
Some posters have been ringing the changes - White out, Byrne in, Buckley out, Daisy in.
How will we know when we have enough depth? Or do you ever reach that stage of being able to cover your losses? It does feel good to have options (thanks largely to a shortish injury list) when you consider at times in the recent past we had something like 25 players to choose a team from.
