He did all that because the fake Ra's al ghul said they wanted to destroy Gotham .Agree BB > TDK, but even that didn't make much sense. Take the training bit where he refuses to execute the criminal. Bale stabs and blows up a whole bunch of ninjas because he's morally opposed to killing... what's that about?
They're great popcorn flicks but it's best to focus on the action and not think too deeply about the story.
"I'm not going to kill you. But I don't have to save you."So? He refuses to kill the criminal because his one rule is no killing. He avoids killing him by... well, killing a whole lot of people. Pretty silly.
Sure, but he actively kills the ninjas.
And then he saves the Joker at the end of TDK anyway, because apparently the "I don't have to save you" rule doesn't apply to him.
So yeah, basically none of it makes any sense if you stop to think about it. So I try not to, and just enjoy the ride.

Imax offering a movie marathon of the trilogy ending with Rises in its first showing at midnight.
Would be good but might be a bit too long for me I hear the last movie is 2 hours and 45 minutes long.
Would be way to long couldnt sit through them would rather just watch the first two at home the night before
We were in this together, and then you were gone. Now this evil... rises. The Batman has to come back!
Hmm, the good cop/bad cop routine?
