What was disgraceful was the earlier version of that story I saw, which was interspersed with every bikini shot the PerthNow "journalist" could get from her Facebook - they must have got complaints because they're all gone now.

I saw something that said they estimated her speed was at least 130. By the look of that car I'd say that's the lower end of the scale.

Can someone verify a loop on a dash cam....so if I set a loop of 5 minutes at the end of the 5 minutes it goes back and rewrites to the start of the memory card?

It wont rewrite until the memory is full. Depending on what SD card size you have determines that length. I only have a 16gig and tapes over after about 90mins of footage. I have it on 10min loops.

Most cameras have 3, 5 or 10 minute loops. Every 3, 5 or 10 minutes it saves it in the memory and starts another video. Once you have used all your space it will tape over the first loop.

The thing is the cyclists were in the right and the driver was a ****wit for honking, especially with traffic all banked up at the lights ahead.

Of course, the rider is facing assault charges and this is not an isolated incident for him (a mate knows him).

I wonder if the police make stuff up. They attributed that death to very excessive speed. But today this report with similar results is blamed on a microsleep.
