Could have passed out, had a stroke, heart attack or the old one you often hear - got the accelerator and the brake pedals mixed up. In that case you'd think you'd take your foot off all the pedals rather than mash the wrong pedal even harder.did their foot get stuck on the accelerator or what? That just doesn't make sense

Easy - old age.I can't understand how people can mistake the accelerator for the brake to start with
Agree 100%but it's even harder to understand how they just continue pressing the accelerator even when they must realise they've hit the wrong pedal, anyone doing that should have their license revoked immediately.
