Some people really shouldn't be allowed behind the wheel, like the woman who plowed into that classroom in Sydney and killed 2 kids.

You can't just write them off as accidents as competent drivers don't have accidents like that.

Could have passed out, had a stroke, heart attack or the old one you often hear - got the accelerator and the brake pedals mixed up. In that case you'd think you'd take your foot off all the pedals rather than mash the wrong pedal even harder.

I can't understand how people can mistake the accelerator for the brake to start with but it's even harder to understand how they just continue pressing the accelerator even when they must realise they've hit the wrong pedal, anyone doing that should have their license revoked immediately.

It's not only old people that make that mistake, the woman who drove into that classroom in Sydney was 52, but in most cases it's old people over 70.
