Came home with a wet sail

Got 3 disposals at a ****ing stoppage (no doubt whilst Berry and Pedlar were miles away) in less than 5 seconds. It was like Adams Family, pinballed to and from him and he literally got 3 in a few seconds. Sloane is an enormous problem. If Nicks doesn't tell him to not put his hand up, then we've gone nowhere. 18 touches as the primary mid, 89% TOG, ****ing deplorable.

You can't drop "The Enforcer." Lol. I for one say let's give him the captaincy to make the cycle complete.

Our coaching panel consists of many idiots.

Billy should never play again.
MacKay should never play again.
STOP PLAYING INJURED SENIOR PLAYERS WHEN THEIR INJURY CLEARLY EFFECTS THEIR PERFORMANCE. Lynch, Tex, Sloane, Keays, Brown.

So many things that should be very a simple decision, we just keep getting them wrong.
"Protect your job" is the motus operandi of the club. By playing injured seniors the blame game comes off the coaches and onto the player. The coaches routinely use the excuse that they had no other option but to play an injured senior. Let's be honest they don't care whether we are successful or not. People will turn up regardless. Getting a job at the AFC is equivalent to scoring a public service gig. You have to be extraordinarily bad to stand out.

He'll get another year and be in our best 22. The bloke is untouchable and most of our supporters not on Bigfooty seem to have deluded themselves that he's playing great footy...

Brisbane had Luke Hodge as their sage old stalwart on a half back flank directing the kids... We have David Mackay... Same thing right? Right?!

There has been and still is a gravy train mentality.

I loved it when BT said at one stage during his call something like “242 games (whatever it is) that’s a good effort” then a quiet pause.
I thought he was going to then say “who is he?”

Hope he does get to 250. I don't have any other Crows memorabilia but would love a huge **** off sized Mackay 250 games framed signed guernsey with photos of career highlights. A representation of what the club stands for.

You gotta love our coaches thinking we need a small forward and Nicksy thinking 'hey we've got a guy, plays pretty well done back, good in the midfield let's throw him down forward'

Mackay is the icing on the senior player cake. Time and time again this group of players lets us down.
He'll be last man standing. With all the talk of letting Talia, Crouch and Lynch go and who knows what's happening with Tex, Mackay will most likely get another 1-year contract.
