All depends on the players you get rid of doesn’t it?
And it would seem most aren’t of our choice in leaving (setting aside we may have decided not to pay the asking price)

I'd say the majority of them are our choice given half are still contracted and the other half we decided not to offer long-term deals to.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t mind it. We already have 4 list spots to fill with more players to leave. So unless we planning on using picks in the 100’s, it’s not that bad signing him.

The problem will be the game time he’s likely to get.

Why sign him up? I cannot understand unless we have secretly signed up our coach and new football manager and they ticked it off ... OR Burton/ Campo are going nowhere and ate still making football decisions.

That's what it feels like. It feels bad.

The problem will be the game time he’s likely to get.

There are times a club, or a group of people need to be saved from themselves. This is one of those times.

Even if that pick in the 100s proves to be an absolute dud, it's a win to us as we've got rid of Mackay, who is an absolute millstone for this club. An indicator that despite our ineptness, we refuse to learn or improve.

Fingers crossed that this is the only thing we refuse to learn about, but it doesn't bode well.

This is a massive ****ing disgrace, we rightfully push Sauce, Douglas, and Jenkins out of the club but at least they all added something to the team at their peaks - but Mackay has been a human form of nothingness for most of his career and gets rewarded with another contract.
