New Baghdad Bombers star Murphy2Judd has just arrived at the Bombers Headquarters to begin a press conference, he’s flanked by Captain Sausage Roll and his manager.

Manager: Ladies and Gentleman, distinguished guests and those of you with bombs strapped to your chests I welcome you today to a day that will forever go down in Baghdad history as the day a star was born. Murphy2Judd has officially signed with the Bombers, he was at first reluctant to move over to Iraq, but the Bombers offered him a salary that he simply couldn’t refuse. Now I’ll hand over the microphone to M2J and he will make a statement regarding today’s news.

Murphy2Judd: Thank you ladies and gentleman, I’m happy to be here, so lets get things started. I’m looking forward to the next stage of my already highly illustrious career, I was originally looking to move to a more……”challenging” competition but the money that the club has thrown at me was too much to resist. The club has told me that they are looking to make me the cornerstone of this organization, as we speak club officials are making plans to build the clubs next premiership around my extraordinary skill set. My aim is carry the team on my back and single-handedly lead them to a flag, and for those of you who have seen me play, I think you’ll agree that that shouldn’t be a problem for me. I’ll now open the floor for questions.

Journalist: M2J, congratulations on becoming a Bombers player, when did the club first ask you to become apart of the team?

Murphy2Judd: Well there was a lot of competition for my signature, the Gumbies made me a very extravagant offer, as my manager here will tell you there were also several other clubs keeping tabs on the situation, but obviously the Bombers have signed me and I’m really looking forward to the upcoming season.

Journalist: Sausage Roll, there are reports circulating that the club tanked in order to snap up M2J before any other team had a chance to poach him, can you confirm these rumours?
Sausage Roll: Well mate under normal circumstances I’d put the team ahead of one man, but these are no normal circumstances. M2J is a once in a lifetime talent, and there’s no way we could pass up the opportunity to sign him. Do you really think that a team as talented as the Bombers would fail to make the finals if we were actually trying? Please mate, you can’t be serious.

Journalist: M2J, one final question mate, what is your aim for the upcoming season?

Murphy2Judd: At first I think I’ll have to earn my place in the midfield, but I’m confident that a player of my unnatural ability will find it easy to make the move into the centre and dominate games out of the centre square. I’m already looking to become the youngest ever EKA medalist and leading the Bombers to a well overdue premiership. That’ll be all folks.
