As 2019 draws to a close, I thought I would look back upon this decade and pick out some of our best wins. There have been many ups and downs throughout this decade particularly low lights of late, so why not leave this decade by remembering some of our finest wins. The 2017 PF was definitely a high for us Crows supporters that we won’t experience in a long time

Bar that, the 2015 ‘Get the Job Done’ Showdown, 2015 EF, 2014 vs Coll, 2013 Petrenko/Kerridge game vs North, 2014 2nd Showdown, hell even 2015 R1 vs North comes to mind

My 10 best for a team that fought hard throughout a challenging decade.

10 2010 R16 vs Geelong (probably the last really great win at Football Park, beat Geelong in their prime in a huge upset)
9. 2014 R9 vs Collingwood (So loud you couldn't hear the siren)
8. 2012 SF vs Fremantle (Tex takes over, leads Adelaide to come from behind win in Adelaide's last finals game at Football Park)
7. 2016 R4 vs Sydney Swans (Close high scoring game at AO)
6. 2016 R12 vs West Coast (A great win in Perth which gave Adelaide serious hope that year)
5. 2015 R15 vs Port (Walsh showdown)
4. 2018 R20 vs Port (We pretty much ended their season in a 3 point come from behind win)
3. 2015 EF vs Western Bulldogs (First away finals win in years, first close finals win since 1997)
2. 2013 R9 vs North (only 1 point win of the decade, Petrenko wins it as a North fan gives him the finger and Petrenko loved every moment of it)
1. 2017 PF vs Geelong (Sloane vs Dangerfield, demolition time, loudest crowd ever, finally a Grand Final)

1. Prelim v Geelong 2017 - this game was sheer happiness. Thumping Dangermouse and Co to make the GF was joyous. Sloane flattening Danger a highlight.

2. EF v Footscray 2015 - One of the best games I've attended. Watching Tex run the wing and set up Charlie was a thing of beauty.

3. That 1 point game v North - Another one I was at. Still don't know how we managed
to pull that one off but damn it was exhilarating!

Crows beating Bulldogs in 2015 EF. High scoring, skilful and exciting game (think Betts kicked 4 or 5) we got behind by a couple of goals in the last QTR, looked done for. Then an amazing finish and win.

Given the Walsh tragedy a few months prior, attending this win was easily my favourite moment of the decade.

PF against Cats in 2017 absolutely the best game of the decade. We stood strong for such an important occasion and against a bogey team. The Sloane and Danger collision was epic, and made it all the more memorable!

EF against Bulldogs in 2015 also very close second. Noone expected us to win, and we didn't look like it either until literally the last 1 minute of the game!

Kerridge kicking 6 and Petrenko kicking last goal in the last 30 seconds against North, ranks as the best home and away game.

Honorable mention to the match against West Coast in Perth in 2015, after the tragedy. It was surreal to see how grown men can cry after a footy match, but then you realise how they can be so strong in the face of such adversity. That loss was more a win for how much it tightened the group, and how much respect the club/players had gained from the wider football community for staying resilient.

I remember Adelaide v West Coast 2015 being a very enjoyable game to watch as we absolutely dominated them in a season they made a Grand Final. Dangerfield's final home game for us also.

I'll vote for the north Melbourne game as I had already rage quitted before petrenkos goal.

That and the one where we smashed port on a Saturday arvo where the game was done by quarter time.

Gotta be the Geelong PF in 2017 - some of the best football I've seen the crows play. Sublime spot on skills all game, plus an absolutely rabid crowd made for an awesome atmosphere. I couldn't talk for 2 days after :)
Honorable mentions to the Bulldogs EF in 2015, and the Kangaroos comeback - each quarter had played out this way so you just felt that we could snatch it in the end!

I hugged so many random crows supporters that night. Legitimately had tears flowing in the final minute when the result was assured

Given we haven't won a GF this decade, my favorite win would be the Geelong Prelim

Where we crushed them.
This is mine too. In a purely statistical sense it was the best win (ie, the biggest game win) we've had in 20 years. But on an emotional level it felt like the flood gates were opening. We had gotten over the hurdle. The feeling at the ground that night was something else. We felt invincible. :(

2015 final vs the Bulldogs always stands out as I was at that game on the wing where Tex ran down and nailed Charlie on the chest. That game and 2017 prelim only times I’ve lost my voice.
I was behind the goals at the other end to that goal. Ended up with no voice and a chest infection but it was worth it.
