I reckon they've given a few of our players more credit than they deserve atm. Just blowing smoke up their arse cause they don't know why Melbourne are doing so well this year. I don't think our recruiting has been nearly as good as they make it out here.

Also I don't know about masterclass but they've done well at drafting really pure footballers since 2018 (as I said about Tholstrup the other day, footballer's footballers) who aside from talent just have an appetite and intellect for the game.

Triggering that the article mentions Laurie as one of the 13 hits just because he is in the team at the moment.

Guy is in his 6th season having barely played and never having really been injured. Has a long way to go before being called a hit.
