For the record, I don't enjoy soft drinks that much, only in small amounts as I get sick of them easily. Reading this thread today inspired me to drink some soft drink. All I had in the fridge was a couple cans of coke zero. Just downed one. Big, big meh. Cola in general is overrated.

schweppes lemonade is far far superior to sprite.

kirks goes all right too.

i do like my lemonade's. suprised i'm the first to vote for it.

sprite makes you thirstier. it's kinda drier.

I'm too casual a soft drink drinker to notice the differences in taste between the brands.

Nevertheless, to say lemonade is better than sprite is like saying cola is better than coca-cola. Cola is just a flavour of soft drink, just like lemonade is. It's not a particular drink by a specific brand with its own unique twist, so you can't really say a flavour is better than a particular brand that makes it.

Lemonade --- Sprite, Kirks, Schweppes, Kirks, 7up etc

Cola --- Pepsi, Coca-cola, Coke Zero, Pepsi Max, Diet coke, LA ice etc

Favourite brand-specific soft drink is Irn-Bru.

My favourite soft drink overall is ginger beer. Hard to find good commercial ones though... Stony Ginger Beer from South Africa is strong with a great kick but it has HFCS which I am not a fan of. Prefer to brew my own.

I quite like Mountain Dew, but I found out only recently that real MD is a caffeinated drink, and what's sold here as MD is sold as "caffeine free MD" in the US. Now I'm interested in trying the real thing.

that's true. i couldn't be arsed typing out schwepped lemonade and it doesn't have it's own special name like solo, sunkist etc,.

i drink too much soft drink. too much sugar and considering my grandma has diabetes it really is something i need to watch. this is heightened when hungover as well... i get desperate for sugar when i'm hungover. most easily satisfied by soft drink. never looked to see if that's normal.

Nice cold can of Pepsi Max. Prefer a can to a bottle any day of the week and twice on sundays.

Have it in the fridge all day keeping it cold then about 15 mins before consumption throw the sucker in the freezer.
